THE PAST
Touch & Go Theatre was formed in 2007 by performers Claire Coleman,
Michael Loader and Jonathan Brown and musician Marco Koppenhagen, as a
successor to The Festival of Fools Theatre Company.

The Festival of Fools Theatre Company had developed a niche reputation for inventive, quirky, spontaneous theatre over a 12 year period,

but in 2006 the loss of one of our performers

combined with a will to develop our work in new directions, led to a period of re-appraisal and re-inventing. In 2007 we were mentored by Theatre Bath, allowing us to explore our artistic development with expert support. We took Theatre Bath's advice and guidance to change our name, forge a new vision and create a new constitution.

We have toured in Ireland, Wales, Romania and the South West of England since 1994,
with William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (original script), A Christmas Carol, The Piper, a show that interwove the stories of The Emperor's New Clothes and Little Red Riding Hood, as well as our spontaneous theatre performances.
As well as our bespoke, spontaneous theatre, this year we worked on 'A Bath with Bladud' for the Bath Fringe 2008, a re-telling of the myth and history of the founder of the city.

In 2003 our successful, devised and funded show about racism, called 'IN MY SKIN' toured a number of secondary schools, youth clubs and adult groups in Wiltshire.
